"Good picks for my kid, but I needed clearer instructions"
The recommendations were actually good for my kid, and we found a few things that worked well. I just wish the instructions had been a bit clearer so I knew exactly what to do next.

"Pretty easy to shop"
I found what I was looking for quickly, and the site was easy enough to use. The pages loaded fine and checkout was straightforward without any confusing steps. It’s a nice little bookstore site for kids’ books, though it could maybe use a bit more polish here and there...

"Decent books, but not the best deal for me"
I found a few books I liked and the selection was nice, so I can’t really complain too much. That said, the prices felt a little higher than what I’ve seen elsewhere, and once shipping was added, it didn’t feel like much of a deal. Maybe I’m just being extra careful with spending right now, but for me it ended up being okay rather than a great value.

"Felt like my messages were never even read"
I reached out to A Children's Place about my order and never heard anything back. I sent an email, waited a few days, then followed up with another one, and still got no response. I understand things can get busy, but it felt like nobody even read my message. I wasn’t asking for much, just a quick update, so the whole thing was really frustrating

"Order take way too long"
I ordered a book and the whole fulfillment process was frustrating. There wasn’t really any clear updates, and the shipping took way longer than I expected. I kept having to check on it myself, which was annoying. By the time it finally showed up, I didn’t even need the book anymore.

"I had to wait longer than I expected..."
I had to wait longer than I expected to hear back, which made me wonder if they were even going to respond. They did eventually answer my question, so it wasn’t a bad experience, just a bit slow and kind of left me second-guessing things for a while.

"Books were okay, but the packaging really needs attention"
I ordered a couple of kids books and they arrived quickly, which I appreciated, but the packaging was disappointing. They were sent in a thin mailer with no real protection, so the corners were bent and one of the covers had a noticeable crease by the time it got to me.
The books can still be read, but for what I paid, I expected them to arrive in better condition. I feel like this should be looked into or escalated to whoever handles shipping, because a box or even some cardboard would have made a big difference. It’s frustrating to buy new books and have them show up already damaged.

"Not great for kids tbh"
The selection felt kinda random, and there were a bunch of age-appropriate favorites missing. I was hoping for better options for kids, but it just didn’t really hit the mark imo.

"Just had a weird uncomfortable feel"
The store felt really cramped and kind of gloomy.. not exactly a place I’d want to wander around in with kids. We didn’t stay long, I just wanted to get out fast

I’ll give them credit, the exchange did go through and I got it sorted in the end. It just took longer than I expected, which was a bit annoying. Not the smoothest process, but I guess it was fine overall

"Shipping was faster than I expected"
I ordered a couple of books from achildrensplacebookstore.com and they arrived way quicker than I thought they would. Everything was packed nicely and showed up in great shape, which definitely made me feel good about ordering from them. It was a smooth, easy experience with no issues at all, and I’d feel confident buying from them again.

"Fun for the kids, but the schedule is confusing"
The storytimes are really sweet, and the author visits have been fun for the kids. I just wish they made the times easier to find, because it’s a little annoying having to dig around or guess when things are happening.

"I’m not sure if it was just who..."
I’m not sure if it was just who was working that day or what, but the staff didn’t really seem to know much. I ended up having to figure most of it out on my own.
